“Dust” is the opening track from Saive’s impressive new body of work, and serves as a release that tastefully offers a prelude of what’s to come throughout the EP.
By now, Saive has established quite a strong signature sound that usually pulls from downtempo and melodic house. Thanks to the shimmering pianos and their heartfelt progression, I think “Dust” may be one of the most emotive releases from the German producer. The atmospheric textures hanging in the backdrop, paired with the sparkling synths and organic embellishments, create a warm soundscape for us to comfortably immerse ourselves in – especially during the build-up leading to the climax in the second half.
