Kevin Feazey, member of English prog experimentalists The Fierce & The Dead, goes out on his own with his side-project The Brass Dragon Ritual. His first release is the dreamy Judgement on which he explores “late-night psych-jazz and orchestral soul”. Being a versatile multi-instrumentalist enabled him to create a multi-layered soundscape with a tinkling top melody. It is dreamy and soothing, but also a bit dark and dangerous, like being seized up by something that is not exactly friendly.
